June 2005 visit from Anna van Rijn to Neale-Wade
Our Dutch partners arrived safely on Wednesday, 8th June , at 3.45pm and they left at 7.30 am on Sunday, 12th. Thank you to everyone at Neale-Wade who helped them have such a pleasant and enjoyable stay and made them feel welcome in our college. I was pleased that many of our students came along to the disco at YPM on Friday evening to meet them and make new friends.
I would like to express my appreciation to all the families involved who took such great care of our Dutch partners especially those who took in extra students at short notice.

This morning we met, very early, at Neale-Wade to say farewell to our new friends. We are sad to see them go but fortunately the skies opened and the rain running down our faces hid the tears! |

Netherlands Exchange 2005
October 2005 Visit to The Netherlands
We had a very successful trip to Anna van Rijn in Neiuwegein where we were looked after very well by the staff and the families of the students. On the Thursday we learnt about Anne Frank and created pieces of drama based on events in her life. On Friday we went into Amsterdam where we visited an old part of the town as well as going to the world famous Anne Frank House museum which is dedicated to her memory and all victims of fascism. On Saturday we had a free day to spend with our host families.
